SURGERY DELAYED BY A WEEK!!

I got a call today from Krista at St. Joe's my surgery was moved back by one week.....not too bad. I'm one of the lucky ones Krista warned me when she gave me my date that these things happen...... So instead of surgery on August 8th the BIG day is NOW August 15th!!!

At least you hadn't started Optifast.....

So very true..... I wondered how that would work if you had already started.

Hey Tanya I will be exactly 2 weeks after you (thats if my date doesn't get changed)I know its hard but what is one week in the bid scheme of things eh . Is Dr. Hong your surgeon?

Not sure who my surgeon is going to be. I seen Dr. Gamora at my surgeon appointment but he said he wasn't sure if he would be doing the surgery or not. 
I just spoke with Krista she said she moved a lot of peoples surgeries today . One week is not that bad at all Krista was happy I was ok with it I am sure she had some who were not so happy but, it's really out of our control.

Sorry to hear that Tanya.  You are taking it much better than I would in your shoes!  I'm really hoping mine goes through as planned, but I guess I'll see when I get to that point!!!!

As for Optifast, I have seen it happen, you would have had it for 3 weeks instead of two

Sorry for the delay, but I love your attitude!

It may not seem like a big deal to some, but I had booked time off work (and they had to replace me).  I was originally booked for the 22nd, but they changed it to the 26th.  I had to figure it out with staff health...big pain in the butt.  I hope it doesn't get changed again, because I don't think my employer would be willing to accommodate.
