What Are You Eating/Doing Today?!? (Sunday)

Hi everyone.  I have never posted on one of these WETEO threads before but I think I need some suggestions to boost my protein.  I am on the pureed stage right now.

B- cream of wheat with a little milk and cinnamon
   - baby food pears
   - water

S - No snack

L- Lemon dill tuna with ff mayo and half a dill pickle
   - baby food apple raspberry
   - water

S - watermelon pureed

D - chicken
    - mashed potatoe
    - butternut squash
    - water/crystal light

Any suggestions are welcomed :)  I am going to go get protien powder tomorrow so hopefully that will help.

Hi there!

Looking at your menu it looks like a lot of fruit for one day.  If i was you I would cut out the fruit and up the amount of protein you are taking in.....just more of whatever  protein you are consuming at that meal.  In the pureed stage and early out I RARELY had space for the fruit when i got all of my protein and veg in!

Ahhhh thanks Trace!  It totally makes sense now!  I totally forgot about the "Karen is a *****" factor......don't know how I could have missed that one!  LOL!

Thanks for the suggestions.  I find that I am only getting a couple of spoonfuls of the fruit in after I get the meat in and thats to get the taste of it out of my mouth.  It's tricky to find puree-able protein that still tastes ok. LOL.  I am getting the protein in first before I try anything else.  I'll definitely cut back on the fruit.  Thanks again. :)

This is my  first time as well.  Still can't eat much but this will keep me on track I hope. My stomach is picky and still can take much. 

B- 1/2 scrambled egg W/skim milk (thats all I can get down)

S - Baby bell low fat cheese round

L- Greek Yogurt 1/4 cup

D - 1 oz of sole W/ cauliflower mashed (like mashed potatoes)

S - Source Yogurt

Hey Char!

Glad to see you posting here!  This post is a great one to stick with and follow...not only is it great on keeping you accountable because you actually plan out your food and see it down in writing....if you do get off track or could make improvements or are slacking....the other people on here are great to helpfully suggest some great tips, ideas, or suggestions!  I also love it because I see what others are eating and it gives me great ideas especially when i find myself in a food rut!  PLUS....we also have a lot of fun somedays!  So stick with us!!!!  :)
