I feel soooooooo embarrased
Hi Karla, its hard not be to be embarrassed but you are right I am proud too that I finally came back to OH to get support for me . I was going to call Dr. Pop's office but I I think OH friends are in my face and better support at this time.
I've been saying for a while and see all the time I've started and stopped recording in my manual journal and then stop. I do need to be accountable to ME! I do! I'm going back to my small bowl sizes for portion control and stay away from carbs. I remember I rarely ate bread but now I eat more a day. Whole Wheat or Whole grains but I think it too much. I WILL I WILL I WILL - thank you for the motivation!!!
Thanks Simona. I worked with my doc and therapy specialist and I didn't want to keep trying different meds as I'm scared of more side affects. When I exercise it makes my pain flare up in my leg but doc said it will damage my leg so to keep exercising. So I golf twice/three times a week and using my stepper in house at other times and getting some walks on lunch hours too now. If I pain, I take 1/4 to 1/2 pain pill Percocet and it eases it. So I may take a total of 1 to 2 pills in the day and my docs are happy with this so I do not need to try other meds. I worked so hard to get to my lowest point and now 2.5 years later to put 30lbs on is so upsetting and I stopped exercising because it hurt more so I'm reversing this and saying "dam it all - even if it hurts - exercise because I'm worth it!" I wish you the best. Can I ask you a question, my ankles, legs and knees and sometimes my whole body aches, are these signs of fibromyalgia? My next appt I will ask doc. I just had physical and going for my blood work this week.
Oh I'm taking another pill now at night which helps me to sleep as I was not sleep as my leg hurts and restless legs and hot flashes. It's helping. Cloneazepam. I also migraines and this is going to replace my daily migraine meds too.
you know what you have to do to get back on track, go back to the basics. Protein first, cut back on the carbs, track what you're eating (i use livestrong.com, but there are lots of online programs that you can use).
Get moving. That will likely help the pain as well. Go to a support group in your area, if you can (if there isnt one, there's one in Barrie, that meets this saturday, message me for details).
You can do this. You can get back to where you want to be.
I'm glad to see you posting - you can get back on track!

You're right that this is the place to start. No judgement, no harsh words just support. You were taking a medically necessary medication. I'm sorry that not only did it not work for you but that it caused some weight gain. You seem to have a fighting spirit in you so I don't doubt that you will work hard and achieve success!
Have you thought about starting with the 5 day pouch test?? I know others have used it with success to kick-start their weight loss again.
Good luck and keep your chin up!!
