Oh Trudy the exact same thing happened to me. Tammy G had lost her IV and was walking around and I couldn't drink and was in agony. Different people/bowels just respond to the anaesthetic and manipulation differently. Walk as much as you can and it will pick up.

it may be painful to walk...but truly it will be MORE painful if you don't toot~!!!
get up every chance you can and stay close to the walls, and walk your butt off.
