I am 10 days out from surgery and doing really well except I think I may be getting a cold.

Are we able to take a Neositrin or will it bother my new pouch.  I am so used to having one when I start to get a cold and nip it in the butt but now I have new rules I am trying to learn and can't remember this one at all.

If in doubt, contact your surgeon... having said that, they make a sugar free version that should be fine.

Thanks Karen I will check that out.

I keep forgetting to look for sugar-free versions for products if its not food.  I have to remember to think outside of the box

Check the ingredients to make sure it is Acetaminophen based and not an NSAID. Also look for a version that is sugar free.
I think it's basically like taking something to reduce pain/fever, vitamin C and maybe a decongestant or antihisamine.
