Popeye's has a protein tasting station to see if you like it...my favourite by far was Iso Sensation Cookies n Cream...but I couldn't handle the SA's so now I switched to ON Gold Standard natural...which is always sold out lol.

Sugar alcohols - look for the ..tols in the ingredients (malitol, sorbitol, etc). Many people are sensitive to these.

I like premier protein ready made shakes from costco.. they have 30g protein, 3g fat, 5g carbs, they are chocolate. I generally drink one per day, they are loaded with vitamins too. On days that I work, I sometimes have 2.
I have also tried "oh yeah" protein bars and they taste like oh henry bars :P I have also tried "detour" protein bars and they are good too... both have 15g protein per bar. I also have on hand, premier protein bars, loaded with 30g protein.

Premier Protein RTD's are just gross...

For me anything with Sugar Alcohols (SA's) or Sweeteners really bloat me and gas me up...right now the only thing working for me is ON Gold Standard. I mix it with Almond milk or Lactose free chocolate milk and it tastes like a milkshake...and no bloating :D

One of the owners at Popeye's told me that I shouldn't exceed a rounded scoop per protein otherwise it doesn't digest properly and can also lead to bloating...

I hear ya... We are all different and like what we like, it takes some taste testing to find that out ;)
I like them because they are ready made and small enough to put in my purse if I want. I am also NOT a dumper and I don't get gas-y from them and I like the chocolatey taste.. It's not like chocolate milk but still kindda reminds me of it and I really used to enjoy chocolate milk, I probably could drink it but I find it really sweet... hmmmm maybe I could mix it with white milk...mmmmmmmmmm!

Anyways, we are all different and we all have ideas ... we just throw them out there for people ;) and they can decide what they like :)
