Anyone tried ProtiDiet?
I had my oldest at Urgent Care and I saw a small store there called Weight Management Blvd. I went inside while we were waiting and they have ProtiDiet products. I bought some oatmeal and the hot chocolate to try. 15 grams of protein each per serving. They have oatmeal, pancakes, soups, chili, bars, cookies, hot chocolate, cold drinks, shakes. It was kinda expensive .. I got 7 hot chocolate in my box and 7 oatmeal and it cost me $30 (to me a small price compared to the money I used to spend on take out) and well .. I'm worth it :-)
Just wondering if anyone has tried it?
Here is the website to check out their products: http://www.weightmanagementblvd.com/
They also have some fitness classes that I might check out.

I've only ever had the bars. I like them because they are tasty, not too big, good for protein and somewhat low in calories.

Love their stuff - my bariatric doc locally sells them. I tried the hot chocolate and it wasn't bad but the lemonade, oatmeal, etc weren't my cup of tea (so to speak!).
The protein bars are awesome. I did order them through the US (to my PO Box address) at one time and I got a better deal buying in bulk. It might be worth trying some from your local place to see what you like and then buying in bulk.

Shoppers Drug Mart, Jean Coutu and other drugstores carry a smaller selection of items ( oatmeal, soup, bars) for around $10 a box with larger 5 pouch servings for around $10-. under the name ProtiLife, same stuff, sold under slightly different name, both made by Amino in St. Eustache, Quebec (near Montreal)..Try www.Well.ca ( online drugstore) and they will deliver free to your home ( no volume purchase needed) and they carry a selection of the oatmeal, soups, hot chocolate and bars at $10.65 a box. Canadian Superstore on Richmond Rd in Westboro in Ottawa carries some of the bars at $9.99..
Years ago there was some discussion on this Board as to the value of the protein content because it is mostly derived from soya protein and we should have whey protein, but I took them anyway, and still love the oatmeal with a fruit in the morning, I make with a little 1% milk to mix into a paste before I add the ho****er to avoid lumps...Love the hot chocolate! When immediately post surgery I used the soups and hot chocolate as part of my liquid phase...
edited to correct "www.Well.ca" the Canadian online drugstore with free delivery( not Welleses as I had indicated, sorry!!!)

The slices are large and maybe a little thicker than regular bread. A half a slice usually does it for me. It keeps in the freezer well. It tastes like bread to me. I'll toast it it up and put some peanut butter (or now PB2 which you could find at Mapleview at the Nutrition House) and a little sugar free jam.
