Sweet picture.  I know this is a dumb comment but it's the second thing that popped in  my head {First was boy you look good for having had surgery, I didn't look as good as your toes afterwards} and second was woah is that room ever clean and in prestine condition.  Sweet. So that's in mexico eh?  I am so happy for you that you finally were able to get your surgery, I just am so sorry that you had to pay for your own.  That's so sad.

Hi Elizabeth.  How are you today?  You have had more than your share lately.  Want you to know I care.

No, I wasn't in Mexico.

I was in Troyes, France - Clinique de Champagne.  The hospital was very clean.  The staff extremely dedicated, kind and thorough.  I couldn't have gotten better treatment.

I was admitted on Thurs. Sept 30th, surgery Oct. 1st, discharged afternoon of Oct. 6th.  They allowed Hughie to stay in the room with me and fed him 3 full meals daily.

Top that off with my hero, Dr. Michel Gagner, and I couldn't have had it any better.

ooops Sorry don't know why I thought you went to Mexico.  Woah I'd love to go to France.  Suppose to be beautiful.  I am so glad you received such excellent care.  I am also glad you are now on the bench with the rest of us "losers" lol and can't wait to see your update pics.

Wow I was thinkin' Dr. Gagner is yummy too!!  He looks allot younger than 49 too!!

On the protein drinks - I struggled for months with them - couldn't stomach anything milky! yuck!

I do Whey ISO Burst protein powders from GNC which is like juice (rather than milky) in my Magic Bullet with water, crystal light and frozen strawberries - and it is the best smoothie!  No protein icky texture at all.
