I do feel really quite well.  I never really had any pain ever - just a tight feeling in my belly.

I am so happy I have had my lap DS and am on my way to a healthy life!

Edited to add: OK, I just went to your profile & I now know that Dr. Gagne is the guy in the jeans & the other gentleman was assisted in the surgery. Either way, you look like you were in good hands.

Hi Ruth, you don't even look like you had surgery! 
I have to copy that picture of the food to send to the hospital I was just in for surgery.   That looks like food a patient would like to try to eat, not the mush I was given.

Ruth, I can see why you look so good in this pic!  He's pretty and I like the jeans and T-shirt with the jacket.  Not bad...

 Hi Ruth you look good in that picture.your surgeon is good locking. sorry to hear you had to self pay for the operation and you had to go to Paris France for it.your room there is very nice and clean looking.good luck in your weight loss journey .your looking well.

Thanks for posting the pic, Ruth...I was amazed at how young you are...I thought from your post picture that you were much older...huh...anyway you do look great, and how romantic to have gone to France!  Hope you get to go back when you can enjoy it more, and visit your Doc!...m

My sweet surgeon is setting up in New York soon - he was just in France on business and was able to work me in - so glad he did!

Hi Ruth, did Dr. G give you any info on what he is doing?  He promised to call me last week to discuss my surgery but he didn't do so.  First time he didn't follow up as promised.

Glad your recovery has been so good - I hope mine is too.

Hi Paula - I don't know where in New York, but he had said before I said yes to Paris, that he could probably do my surgery end of Oct. - but I didn't want to wait in case there were any delays, so I went with Paris Oct. 2/09.

So....I really don't know

Great pic Ruth, thanks for posting.  I always wondered what Dr. Gagne looked like, I pictured him as some skinny Nerd which clearly he's not :P
