ok, so my wife and I are trying to lose weight for surgery.  we have this old Optifast big box that can potentially last us until surgery.  but, it expired 2001!!!!

we opened one last night and drank it, it tastes the same!!!  lol  how crazy is that?

so, we are going to drink the rest of the box

yes, i know, molecules can break down and combine with others, etc.... i know....

but we really want our livers to be smaller so the surgery is safer, anesthesia benefits, etc....

i just thought you would like to know that these optifast are still the same!!!  lol

Why not go buy some really good protein shakes and eat some lean protein???  Don't drink it, Don't drink it LMAO

we have a pile of protein in tubs, boxes and in the freezer (thanks to all of you MAKING me buy good things) but we don't want to use it until after surgery!!  lol

you know, i loved optifast.  i really did.  the problem with it was, it was only temporary weightloss (5% success rate after 2 years)

i think my strong choice for DS is strongly based on my wanting a permnent solution, finally.

if i am going for surgery, god damn it, i am not going for a revision in 7 years!!

i know i have the terrible knee injury from firefighter, but i want the old active me back, and i am going to get it.  for me, i need the help DS can give me

If you have the Optifast 900, you can go to GNC and buy the Isoflex and mix it with 1 percent milk and it's almost the exact same nutritional content as Optifast and it taste better and it's not expired. LOL  The peanut butter chocolate one is very yummy and the vanilla really taste good too.  I didn't mind the strawberry either but I found the strawberry taste a bit too artificial for my liking but it wasn't terrible.

ugh!!  i hate you all!!  lol, stop making me buy things!!!

ok, geeezzz, we will finish the box and then buy isoflex peanut butter chocolate for the last 10 days before surgery -- god that sounds good BTW

you must be patient with my wife and I, lol, we are impulsive sometimes and do crazy things, like we drove around NA for 2 months and got married in las vegas, lol

Use some of the stockpile, you will not be having protien shakes and that kind of stuff forever LOL and likely not too much when you are eating real food, especially if you are having DS
