Topic: Medicaid
I was just wondering if anyone else out there has medicaid and how the process went for getting approved for surgery. I went to a seminar and just now got approved for medicaid. Hopefully next month I will be with Paramount Advantage...a medicaid carrier so I can get the ball rolling.

No experience with OSU - am attending Riverside / Fresh Starts info session on Saturday. My husband works for Ohio Health and we are switching back to his insurance in October.
I'm interested in hearing what you think of OSU, if you would like to compare notes.

The South Dayton Surgeons/New Life Surgery office is on the second floor (suite 2250 -- right across from the elevator) of the physician's building attached to the hospital. The group runs from 7-8pm.
We would love to have you join us. (Feel free to join uis for dinner beforehand... once we decide where, that is!)

I would love to attend this meeting. Can someone tell me exactly where at Kettering and what time? I'm just a month out from my RNY and would like to join a support group. Dr. Shucmacher was my surgeon.

That was actually the first time she has been there. She only has one PA now (Joanne) and she does attend the meeting.

I am up for wherever for dinner (although I'm pretty burned out on BW3s). There is a Bob Evans (lots of healthy choices) over at the Dorothy Lane and Dixie Drive intersection (only about a mile from the hospital). There's also a burrito place (I forget which one) and the usua fast food places over there... just trying to think of someplace different.
