Mr Oreo..

I have sad news to report about our missing kitty....We found him this afternoon along the road, he had been killed by a car. Poor Fella was never outside and just didnt know the dangers of the road. We are all totally devasted and cant believe he is gone. Thanks to all of you who sent love, prayers and support our way this week. At least we know he has crossed the rainbow bridge and is nice and warm and snuggly and will be waiting for us when we get there. So sorry to hear about Mr. Oreo. We had to put one of our cat's down after New Years. He was 14 and we loved him so much. His name was Sebastian. I know how hard it is when you lose a loved pet. Sent an email to your daughter. Blessings. Linda

I am so sorry about your cat. It is so hard to lose your pet. It really hurts. I lost one of our golden retriever last year. I still miss her.

Linda and Cindy, Thank you for your kind words. Pets are so much a part of who we are and our lives. We get so used to them being under our feet and sitting on our laps we sure miss them when they are gone. I Loved that crazy cat, he was a beauty with a heart of gold. I need to ask you all a favor. My daughter Andrea ( Oreos human mom) is totally devasted by his loss. If you would please send her a few words or an e card of sympathy I would love you for it. I am so sorry for your loss. I am a cat lover and I have a tuxedo cat (black & white) who has been my baby for 13 years. Cats are so special and wonderful companions. I sent your daughter an e-mail. I hope she will be ok. Some day she will find another kitten that will warm her heart and be her baby. I remember all of my pets fondly. Patches and her sister Pepsi will be my last pets though. Wow, how sad. I completely understand the pain. I had a dog that was my shadow that I had to put down because he had a brain tumor. It was so painful i thought i would die too... pets become such a part of our lives. I have another dog now who is equally precious to me. God Bless Pam

Thank you all for the outpouring of Love and support for my family during this tough time. Yesterday was very difficult at work, everytime someone would ask if we found the kitty, I would tear up again. By the end of the day I had swollen frog eyes. I keep telling myself this is just the loss of a pet, not a human. But my heart keeps breaking and telling me otherwise. We love these furry little friends because they love us so unconditionally. If we are fat, skinny, stinky, grumpy, sad, they dont care.. They just love us!! And if a pet is lucky they get that same love and tenderness back. Again, Thank you all for your support.. I have happy news to report.. We adopted a homeless furbaby from the Humane Society.. A furball grey black tiger striped Tabby male. They were so kind to us and gave us the choice of any cat for free as long as we promised to not declaw him, and get him fixed next month. So far he is getting along beautifully with our Yorkie and other kitty Mr Chocolate. We havent decided on a name yet. We are looking for something exotic since he looks just like a tiger cub. If you can help us come up with some names I would appreciate it. Thank you all for your love and support. Laura
