Cathy, That was very rude of her. You should have ask her. Why would you say something like that. or What makes you think that. I would say she is jealous. I have alot of that going on right now with a few friends. They dont act the same. They liked me bigger than them. Now I am smaller. They dont like that. I even stopped talking about my weight loss to them. And try and act like nothing has changed. But you can tell there is a jealousy in them. I cant help the fact that I saved my life. and I am looking younger and better everyday. When I had my heart attack. I looked very old. My whole head was gray. I looked every bit of 60. I am 48. Now I am looking healthy and young again. They dont care about you if they act like that. Just smile and ask her in a nice way. Why would you say something like that. Take Care Barb

Life certainly has a way of making you happy doesn't it? I have a buddy at work who told me just today that I look younger now then when I did 21 years ago. Hopefully we are both healthier and will stay that way!

Well Cathy, The next time someone asks...Did you lose weight to get a man? Say yes....YOURS! An when they say that wasn't very nice just reply neither was your question. that'll make'em think twice before saying something stupid...or STOOPiID as the case may be. ZZ

Trust me when I say no one would want her man. I tend to think that some of these women think that I am going to start chasing after every man in the building! My policy is that I don't bother with the men that I work with.....eventually it comes back to haunt you. But I'd love to borrow your zapper!

Unbelievable! I like your response, I hate it when you think of these things too late. I have purposely not told many people about my impending surgery just for this reason! For the first time this is all about me and my personal decision. I am doing this for me and my family. My husband has a very serious form of cardiomyopathy and we always live in fear of him leaving us. I have two young children 7 and 9, they deserve to have a healthy parent. At least I'm the one that can do something about it. To think we would make this huge decision to find a man... It tells me she probably would have! Anyway Kudos to you for keeping your priorities and because of that you'll find someone right for you! melisa
