NEW WOW MOMENT

I cleaned out my closet this weekend to make room for new clothes. I had to go shopping for a few new items. I am so excited I can finally get into an 18. What an amazing feeling that is. I have not been in an 18 since before I got married. Which was 18 yrs ago. I had to call my hubby on my cell phone to tell him.. I was just so excited. Let me tell you girls... Julie that is wonderful. First time in 18 years. That is great. I bought 2 shirts and a pair of pants from jc pennys they was to tight so I thought I would wait and try them on in a few weeks, The shirts hang on me now and the pants are lose. I am also a 16 -18 in pants and a x large shirt now. It just feels great to wear in style clothes. I love the boot leg pants with the black hill boots. but I dont want to buy anymore clothes until I am at goal. I have been wearing my younger daughters clothes. She is 16 - 18 . I will be happy at a size 12 we are getting there. you have came along way. I bet you are so proud of yourself. I bet your husband just loves you. Happy New Years Barb

Julie, congrats to you! I am looking for that WOW moment too! I haven't been in an 18 for about 25 years anyway. No wheres near that yet, but someday!!!! I am happy for you!

It's so much fun isn't it Julie. Pretty soon you will having people tell you not to lose another pound. The hardest part is feeling like you are still fat. It's so wierd.I can put on a 10 pant but the minute I look in the mirror I see me fat. I don't know why. I am very concieted now lol,and I am constantly asking my DH is this ok?is that ok? I think not only am I on his nerves I am on my own. I ended up going to Lane Bryant the other day to buy hose. I don't know where to get them and I liked theres. Instead of a D I got an A. I have a big wedding to go to on the 14th and I need them for my heels. YES,I got High Heals. They have a pointy toe and I am scared to death of falling. They say it's like riding a bike , you nerver forget HA,we will see. I am happy for you Julie and everyone else who takes this wonderful journey. Cindy, I understand about the high heels. I used to wear them alot. I hope it is like riding a bike. Because I love getting dressed up. I think you will do great with the heels. If you wore them in the past you know what you have to do. Also heels are so lady like you are going to look great. Im wearing 3 different kinds of boots this winter. They are high heeled so. I think I will do fine. I am going to a wed in Feb in gatlinburg. Staying out there 5 days. I will be staying in a hotel. My husband is going away to school on Jan 31 for 6 weeks. So It will be kind of a different vacation for me. I cant wait. hugs Barb

Julie, I am in a 14 easily now and they are to the point I dont have to unbutton them to pull them down to go potty. So that puts me in the DANGER zone.. LOL.. I can just see me at Walmart getting a customer some merchandise on a ladder and losing my pants. If it were to happen to anyone it would be me, You just know it.. LOL I bought some PJ's on Clearance at work and fit into a regular size medium. But its crazy, when I was looking at them, I was still searching out the sizes with the X's in them... Its a hard habit to break.. When I put these medium jammies on they hung on me, and it finallly dawned on me that someday, I am gonna wear a small. I have NEVER worn anything small.. Not even socks. lol... I am just tickled senseless!!!! Cindy sent me some gorgeous boots that at one time I would never been able to fit over my fat calves. I tried them on and I could picture myself in a mini skirt and those boots.. Someday soon!!!! Look out world... I am on my way!!! Love and hugs, Laura

I don't know how many of you shop at www.landsend.com but they have a bunch of stuff on clearance. I am tall..6 foot for a woman so I tend to buy a lot of clothes at landsend because they have inseams long enough for me. Anyways, they have some of last years summer things on sale/clearance. I bought a bunch of capri pants for $9 each and even bought a swimsuit for $19. I am in 16 now, so I went ahead and bought 14 and 12's in some of the clothes. I figured at that price I could be a little forward thinking.

Julie I recently also fit into my 18's and this morning I tried on a 16 and they fit, a little snug but they fit. Yeah!! These wow moments are great! Josie
