Question for Dr. C re: erosion

I've just read a very disturbing post on another board by a woman with an eroded band; she claims to have had no symptoms and to have followed all the rules to a "T" I find this hard to belive--my R.D. has said that she would have been vomiting everyday for this to happen--I just can't believe it was spontaneous. Is this possible?

Asymptomatic erosions are certainly possible. I wouldn't do anything other than watch it, if it was small and the patient was experiencing no symptoms at all. Dr. C
