Support groups in the Akron area?

Hi Everyone! I will be having surgery at St. Vincents (no surgery date yet) and they have support meetings in Cleveland. I'd like to get to a meeting but with my work schedule it is too far to drive there from Kent. I was just wondering if there was any open support groups in Akron even if you aren't having surgery in this area? I need all the encouragement and advice I can get before surgery Thanks! Leah D

Leah, I hear that there is one in Cuyahoga Falls. I will try and find out more about it tonight. There is a group (mostly from St.V's) that meet in North Canton. I imagine that that is too far from you too! But Chris was telling me of the group in the Falls so will find out more about it tonight for you. Sue

oh wow, i live in the falls but never have heard about a group here, if you find out please sent it my way, as i am having my surgery done at St V also ( i wouldnt mind going to n.canton but if i can get closer, that would be better) michele (no surgery date schedule yet)
