Support Group

Hi All I am looking for support groups in the Cleveland area. I am 10 mos post op 358/238/160 and am looknig for people to talk to and interact with that knows exactly what i'm going thru. Getting lots of support from friends and family but not the same. If anyone knows of any please let me know, Thanks.

Hi Arecia, I live in the Akron/Canton area and I'm trying to start a weekday morning support group. I need all the help I can get - I'm not doing a real good job of being post-op. Today is my 12-week-post-op mark, and I find myself snacking on the free pizza my company provided us today. I need help. I NEED HELLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP! hi arecia!!! im ebony,i had surgery at university hospitals,and i see that you had yours at st.v's,dont thay have a support group meetings there?if not uh has support group meetings every 3rd monday of the month and im sure they would not have a problem with you going there,usually the surgeons are there the nurses and physical therapist and clinical specailist and nutritionist also. so if you have any questions feel free to e-mail me. take care ebony

Arecia, Cleveland Clinic has a support group that meets the second Thursday of each month in the Lerner Research Institute. The next meeting is Oct. 13 at 6pm. I'm stil in the planning stages of my surgery, so I have never been to one, but it is mandatory that I attend before they will give me a surgery date, so I will be at the next meeting!
