3 Days Post Op
Hi all. I am officially on the loosing side. I am concerned about how I am progressing. I had surgery on Thursday 7/28. I was released from OSU on Saturday 7/30. I really don't feel like I was ready to come home. Surgery went well and I am so lucky to not have any naussea or vomiting. I am just very tender in my belly and find it hard to walk. I seem to keep my back hunched up so now my back is in spasms. Does this all sound normal?

Shellie,
Congratulations!!!... and yes, all of this is normal...but keep trying to move. You do not want to develop pneumonia!!
I had my surgery at OSU with Dr. Mikami and I know that they welcome ANY questions you have. If something doesn't seem right, call your surgeon's office. They will get right back to you.
You are going to have good and bad days, weeks...but trust me, it is worth every minute. I am just 3 months out and everything is so much better!!!!
