Update on "Unbreak my heart"

I had my heart cath on 7/20..they found 80% blockage in 1 artery and placed a coated stent..I had to stay overnight..Now I have to take Plavix everyday to prevent platelets from clotting around the stent..I feel better, but this will delay my surgery for 3 months..by then, my insurance changes over to Aetna...I was already approved by United Healthcare and had a date with the surgeon for 7/25-which I had to cancel...tomorrow I finish my 4 week nutrition classes...sooooo close!! (Aetna requires 3 more months of supervised diet)...I've started losing weight now...wondering if I'll still want WLS by then??? Oh well, I'm playing this 1 day at a time.

I am so sorry for all this. I do believe there is a reason for everything. When it happens it will be the right time when it happens. Very much luck to you, Love, Cindy

Priscilla, I'm so glad you're here to tell us that things went ok. Taking care of you is your first priority. Follow your cardiologist's directions. Once your heart is ok then you can make some decisions about WLS. Best wishes. Luann
