Quick question about Roller Coasters!

I am on Expedia right now booking our flight to the event... need to know if there is a group going to the nearby super-duper el grande amusement park (of which the name escapes me right now) on FRIDAY or on SUNDAY so I can make proper arrangements. Want to hang with the group that will be having some fun riding roller coasters..... ahem, of course in addition to all the inspirational and motivational event stuff with Bo and the doctors and all. KIngs island? Brenda the event coordinator for Cincy has gotten us inexpensive tickets to Kings Island for Sat. eve, after the conference. A group of us is going thern. i'm coming down on Thursday night and hope to visit Dr. Curry that morning and then have Friday - rest of the day to have some fun! (better make my appt now) Sunday I "think" (operative word...lol) I will be heading home. Unless I take Monday off work also. I have a 4+ hour drive home. You want a really awesome park? Come up to Northern Ohio (Sandusky)sometime, Cedar Point is rated #1 in the world! I am hoping I get a chance to go there this summer still. Life sure gets busy when one get's thinner after yrs & yrs of being MO! And best of all... I will FIT on the rides with no problems this time! -4 lbs this week, bringing my grand total to -140 lbs gone.. but not forgotten!

My husband's company is paying for all of their employees to go to Cedar Point on October 8th. I pray we have good weather then because we will be staying in a hotel up there for a few nights and making a mini-vacation out of it. If anyone would like to meet up with us at the park that day that would be great. We will be attending the company's catered picnic early in the day, but after that we are on our own to do whatever.

Hey ya'all I havn't been to Cedar Point in ages!!! the tickets I have area for Sat evening only..$17.00 for after 5pm I want to go toooo..I havn't been on a roller coaster since before I gained my weight..so it's been aaahhhh lets see..well a couple of years ago (more like 25) see ya all at the event! Susan, the big amusement park is Kings Island and HAVE to ride the Beast, there are others and maybe better coasters there, but THE BEAST is the signature one you must ride, just follow the footprints. I myself I have never ridden it, but I have it's smaller counterpark in Hannah Barbera land called the Beastie and that was enough for me Sarah
