Jewish Hospital and Dr. Korelitz

I started down this surgical road the end of April with Jewish Weight Mgmt center and have completed everything and met with Dr Korelitz a couple weeks ago. It took a week to get approved by insurance and am ready to get a surgery date. I just finished my stress test today so hopefully I can talk to Dr Korelitz Office Monday or Tuesday to get a date. Meanwhile I would like to hear from folks who used Jewish Hospital and Dr Korelitz. Please be honest and Give Positive and negative input. Thanks

Hi Terry! I met with him prior to surgery and decided to go with another surgeon. He did not have the bedside manner/approachability I was looking for at all. That is more important to me than it is to some people, so it may not be much of a factor for you. That is my only experience with him, hopefully others can build on that.
