Who's going to OH convention?

I live in PA right on the PA/OH border. I'm not sure how far Cincinnati is from Youngstown but I wanted to know who was going and if I can make a couple of friends beforehand. Thanks Janel

:raising hand: ME! I'm coming from Toledo - north 4 hours - I think Youngstown is about as far to Cincy - only coming from the east side of the state instead of west.

Im not sure how far youngstown is for you sorry... we have about 30-35 people from our support group going to the convention. I do believe the convention start around 9 am.... Are you all coming in on Friday nite? Let me know!

I'll be there as will all the folks from my office. I'll be M.C.'ing the panel discussion in the afternoon. I'm expecting all of Curry's Angels to be there!! Dr. C

I am planning to go. Hoping I can get someone from the Columbus area to ride with me so I don't go bonkers driving by myself.

I am going with my hubby. We are going to make it a weekend getaway from the kids. I am excited to see everyone that will be there. Julie

Hi Janel, I am hoping to go. I can tell you that Youngstown is about 5 hours or so from Cincy. I live an hour east of Cincy and it takes me 4 1/2 hours or so to get to Youngstown...Boardman actually. I hope that gives you an idea. It's a great idea to meet people before hand...but I'm sorry I don't have a picture...you'll have to settle with me finding you!!! Liz Hillsboro

I am going. I live in Cincy and have just started researching surgery, etc. I am planning on having the lapband with Dr. Curry. It will be a late Christmas present, because I have just started my supervised weight loss plan with my PCP. I read your profile, and I am impressed. I am older than you but I am hoping to start dating again, also. Maybe we can cheer each other on! See you in Cincy!!! Ned
