What a sensitive boss...
Here is a true story to either make you crack up, or have your jaw hit the keyboard.
When I was 3 weeks post-op, our office moved. My supervisor, who completely ignored my restrictions was buzzing around like a demented rodent. There was a large box full of trash on the floor. So she looks at me and says, "Can you take that out to the trash?". I calmly said, "No, I cannot pick anything up off the floor and that certainly weighs more than 15 pounds." My supervisor responded...(are you ready for this?)
drumroll please...
"Well, I'm in as bad of shape as you are, I started (her period) today."
Did you all have any inkling that gastric bypass was as minor as your menstrual cycle? I apparently shouldn't have even taken off the 9 days I was off...guess I am just a big wimp!
I need a new job...*sigh*
Have a great week!
Becky
Becky,
What a wonderful caring and understanding boss you have! Not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The insensitive clod should be flogged with her box of trash. I always tell my co-workers, that if I died tomorrow the *******s would be in front of my coffin discussing who they would have take my place. Bosses come and go but family is always with you. Keep your priorities straight!
I hope your recovery from surgery goes smooth and the "B--ch" gets hers since what goes around comes around.
Have a great day!!!!!!!!!! Luann
