color me missing. Sorry, been a little tied up here at work the last week. Thank goodness the Hunger Study is over at least at our Food Bank! (well that is unless the survey place decides they want us to do more.. hope not) Now let's see if I can figure out some questions to ask today. hmmmm 1. Exercise - are you or aren't you? If so what sorts are you doing? What type of exercise would you recommend for someone who is not physically able to go out for a walk? or lift weights? 2. Have you been told you look like anyone famous? 3. Who the he** stole the sun? OK that's not the real ? here 3. again. If you could buy any new vehicle, what would you get? 1. Sometimes... sometimes not. Depends on how I am feeling, how long my day has been, etc. I've not been regular at all getting my exercise in. Walking is a feat, if I pick up the pace, I mean I can do it, but not without conscequences (sp) I have a really messed up back and hip and the impact of one 1 mile walk puts me down for a week. . So I bought a hoopty bike.. I love it! However with the rain, I can't always get out to do it.. and not after dark in my neighborhood! I also have a home gym, I use it 2-3 x's a week, for about 10 minutes. I know not enough, but hey I am trying.. remember I was in a wheelchair up until 4 months or so ago now. (It IS dusty and retired in my garage now) I also do ALL the yardwork, mowing, weed wacking, etc, but that is usually all day 1 x a week. I am praying my YMCA Scholarship comes through so that I can get back in a pool regularly to exercise. I love the water! I'm but a poor broke single mom, I can't afford $60 a month... besides I spend all my extra $ on my protein.. check out my www if you want something good, not chalky, less than 3 oz's and 25 g's of protein. Anyways... I know I gotta get more regular here soon, as my wt loss has slowed down. Unless the little bit I do get is building muscles. Hmm *I'd recommend water exercises if this was available to them. 2. ummmmm NOPE! I look like me and me alone. 3. YEAH WHO DID IT! 3. again. Right now I think I'd go buy a new Chrysler 300 SRT8. I think it's such a hot looking car... but then I couldn't afford gas! hugs and prayers,

Vickie, I can always come to the message board and feel like it's sunny out when I read your posts. You make me smile and my day gets better and better. 1 walking/swimming/CURVES one or the other 4-5 times a week for as long as I can stand it since my knees kill me and I'm pre-op. 2. Mamma Cass, and Carnie Wilson before her WLS. 3. A 2006 Chevy Corvette. I feel the need for speed!!!!!!!!!!!!! Luann

Well Thank you I wish I could spread the sunniness to the outside... brrrdang chilly again this am. But the sun IS shining up here in Toledo at least for the time being. YaY! but rain in the forecast. ughh I thought about a Corvette, but they sit a little too low to the ground and my gosh at my age, even with loosing the wt, I'd still have to have someone/thing lift me OUT of the dang thing!

Hey Vickie what a nice pick me up for this gloomy cold day!! 1. Exersize, hmm does chasing a 4 yr old and a 16 month old all day count? And the cleaning and stuff a stay at home mom could do...and the running to school...I am still pre op but once I have my surgery and feel comfortable being around people in a gym I will be applying for the y membership for poor people lol, I was approved before but didn't go due to the weight thing..it was only like $11 a month for me and my boys, I want to do water aerobics and treadmill and a gazelle would be fun and the butterfly thing on a gym, ooh rowing machines r fun and the bikes. 2. Yah back in the day a *lol* carnie (from a traveling carnival) told me I looked like one of the Wilson Phillips (this was back when they were popular and yah I knew which one he meant lol). But I don't think I look like anyone. 3. I would be that California stole our sun...let's go steal it back lol..road trip? 4. Hmm what car would I want...I would have to stick with the two cars I've always wanted they are the Cadillac CTS/STS and the Cadillac Escalade. I love them...someday I'll own them..so classy...k back to reality...out of dreamland... ~Tema

Well Thank you Tema. Dunno if that counts as exercise, does it get your heart rate up and keep it up? I know when my boys were younger, they were busy ones, it never got my heart rate up.. (unless I was stressed) and I never lost a lb. Housework, does burn some calories however it almost has to be constant. Like my Saturdays... Hey that's the same scholarship I applied for at the Y! I sure hope to hear something from them soon on it. Yanno even at my highest weight, I NEVER felt out of place at the Y, so don't let that stop ya. My $ is what stopping me now. I went to the CA board and asked if they was hogging the sunshine. Only 1 person even replied to it, so it must be true, they are all out lying on the beach getting tanned, (YES ROADTRIP!) while we're here half freezing.. supposed to get in the 60's today though! But I AM INSIDE!
