supplements/ samples etc

By any chance do we have any program to pass along things that we have tried and didnt like for ourselves to other members?? I am having trouble affording all of the foods and supplements that I need, and was thinking about how many packs of free samples might be sitting in peoples cabinets unuses. How we could help members through rough times with those items. I have been unable to find the carnation instant breakfast sugar free for the carb concious in vanilla or strawberry. I have tried all three stores in the area, Kmart, Walmart and Riesbecks. No one has anything but the full blown sugar. Argh.. GoodNight, Hugs Laura

Loraine, I did get some sample packs of a product because I am a dietitian and it is made for bariatric surgery patients. I would be happy to send them to you, so if you could email me your address today, I will get them in the mail to you. Do you have a Kroger in your area, I think they usually carry the SF instant breakfast. Remember also that you don't have to use the name brand, sometimes, Kroger has their own brand that will do just as well and maybe save you some $. I hope this helps. Loraine, Krogers does sell the NO SUGAR ADDED flavors of Carnation Instant. I also buy the inexpensive Protein shake mix from Walmart. I buy the creamy vanilla "CARB SOLUTIONS" high protein shake mix. It has about 12 servings in it. 21 grams of protein, 0 sugar, 3 grams of carbs. SO add the milk and it is not too bad. THe nice thing about the vanilla is I can change the taste easy to what I like. I can take the vanilla but sometimes I put in blue berries, strawberries, bananas or S/f Chocoalet from walmart that is made with Splenda. Not many protein shakes taste "Great". Just don't forget you can doctor them up to taste better. RIchard
