Surgery Tomorrow 5/12/05

Julie, I read your posts often and I know you have been working towards this for a long long time. I'm so happy for you that your day is almost here. Good luck with your surgery. I just replied to you a minute ago and then saw this message. You are going to be fine. I had so many things going through my head the day before surgery...my biggest fear?...that'd I go through some sort of post op "let down".... you know when you plan and plan for something, it FINALLY comes and then after it's over you feel depressed?...NOT WITH THIS!! While I am not back up to snuff I am STILL excited and happy about my decision and the new life I am making for myself. Tomorrow is your turn my friend!!! Liz hillsboro

Thank you Liz. OSU called this morning and told me that my time was moved out from 7a to 10:45a. I was hoping to be Dr. Mikami's first surgery so he would not get behind. Oh well you have to take what you can get. Thanks for the input. I hope that my stay at OSU will be as good as yours. You take care and keep me posted on your progress. Hugs, Julie

Hi Julie, I've been thinking of you all week and was planning on calling you today to see how you are!! In less then 24 hours you will be on the loosing side!! YEAH!! I bet you are soooo excited!! JUlie, You will be in my evening and morning prayers. I pray for a smooth surgery and when you wake up after surgery you realize what a wonderful new day and life you will have. Take some soothing CDs to listen to and help you heal faster. Walk, walk, walk, drink, drink, drink, and pee away all the fat. Luann
