Need a recommendation

I am looking for a book that will give me the protein amounts for individual foods...etc. I went to Border's and found 1 book with protein counts there must be more! Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any help! Sue

Sue, I have a great book, it is called "The Complete Book of Food Counts, by Corinne T. Netzer. It has everything, calories, carbs, protein, Cholesterol, sodium, fats and fiber. My daughter got this for me at the CVS drug store. I also go to the website 9www)nutritiondata.com I like it because you can type in a food and it will list the values. I hope this helps..good luck! I have the same book Mary, it was given to me by an MD years ago..it has tons of information that I definately recommend reading..wow what an eye opener when we read labels and learn nutritional value.. good luck Sue
