Help!

I am 37 years old and weigh 260. I have thought about this surgery for along time, but have always been afraid. Last fall I lost almost 60 lbs , but have gained it all back. After seeing many of my friends have wls and do well, I finally decided I was going to do it, now I find out "my insrance doesnt cover it under no cir****tances". Is there any hope and what can I do? Our insurance is through my husbands work. He works at the hospital that offers a wls program, how weird is that that our insurance doesnt cover it? Oh well just looking for some suggestions.Thanks
