Info on Dayton Support Group?
Hello, All - I have a fabulous 17 year old daughter (technically, step-daughter) who lives with her Dad and me in Columbus. I had WLS last October, and she has been amazing through the whole thing - supportive as our diet changed here at the house, going to the gym with me (at 5:30 am, no less!), celebrating with me that I can shop at the same stores she does now.
Her mom is having WLS in Dayton next week, and she's understandably nervous (as she was when my surgery happened), particularly since her mom's journey didn't involve as much pre-work as OSU required. I've read here that there are some Dayton area support groups, and I wanted to let my daughter know about them so she could hook her mom up with a support network, in case she wanted one down the line. Anybody have any info on Dayton area support groups?
Many thanks.

336/188/150 - yeah, that sounds like a good goal today
Who is her doctor?? Most of them have support groups also.
There are a group of us that get together about once or twice a month at Dorothy Lane Market in Springboro and just talk. Everyone is welcome. In fact we are meeting this Saturday if she would like to come. We meet arould 11am.
