PLEASE PLEASE HELP

I have a dear friend going through a rough time now. Finances are so tight that she may have to post pone her surgery. It is covered by her insurance, but she will have no pay while she is off work. She is not even sure she could afford her vitamins or supplements after surgery. Is there any one out there who has known people in a similar cir****tance? Is there ANy help out there at all? She is very down an needs encouragement ASAP.I live too faraway from her to go see her during the week. I am worried about her trying to handle this alone. I know she checks this message board often, and even though I am not going to say her name, I know that the loving people who post here will have some words of comfort for her as well as keep her in thought and prayer. thank you Liz Hillsboro

I really don't know of anyone, except she may try to contact medicaid to see if they could help during her time off work and with her vitamins and such after. Also maybe she could get samples of the vitamins from the surgeon or perhaps find out the name of the company the vitamins are made by and try them, it's worth a try. I wish her all the best, please let her know that. Also remember with God ALL things are possible, have faith.

I am checking with my pharmacy to see if the Dr orders protein supplements if my medical card will cover them. Its worth giving it a try. Thank you all again for reaching out to me. You have no idea how much it means to me that people who have never met me are willing to take the time to write such beautiful supportive letters. This has made such a difference in my life. does her employer offer short term disability(sp)? If so, at least she could still get paid.
