STRICTURE

WENT INTO CC TODAY AND HAD AN EDG DONE. THEY FOUND A STRICTURE AND OPENED IT UP FROM 10CM TO 12CM. THEN HE GAVE ME A SCRIPT FOR PREVACID. WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT WOKED AND HOW I'M ABLE TO EAT. DEBBIE

Does your new pouch hurt alot? I am supposed to go have the edg done soon. I think I have an ulcer or something. How long were you ubder for the edg? Please let me know how that went for you so I can know what to expect. What is a stricture? Thanks sasyshorts [email protected]

stricture is when there is scare tissue from the pouch to the intestine. It wasn't bad at all I was in and out of the hospal in 1 1/2 hrs. Your a little groggy when you leave so someone has to drive you there and home or they won't do it. Good luck let me know how you make out. I am able to eat with out throwing up. My doctor also put me on Prevacid for 2 weeks due to ascid reflex. debbie

Hi, I had a stricture and Dr.Curry fixed it right away. No big deal at all. I was under just a few minutes. And not very deep of a sleep ,just enough that you wont remember. Good luck, Cindy
