Its official !!!!!

Well, finally it is official I will have my surgery on April 26th. I went for the Pre Admission Testing today, and I cleared all of the final tests!!! I am so excited. I will have open RNY at Barix Clinic with the wonderful Dr.Barbara. So please keep me in your prayers. I will be a BIG LOSER soon. Hugs, Lisa

dear Lisa, I will pray for you. I had my done in June and it was the best thing that I have ever done. I am down 94 pounds and feel so great. I was a diabetic on 5 pills a day and now I am on nothing. Do just what the doc says and good luck. Sincerely. Heidi

Congratulations Lisa!!! Your surgery will be one day before mine - April 27th. I am new on this board but have been reading for few months and everyone has been very helpful. Congratulations on getting your date! I had open RNY with Dr. Barbara as well, and I have to say that he did a fabulous job. Even the nurses said that he is extremely careful and double and triple stitches everything, so he has a very low rate of complications! I love everything about Barix. I really feel like family when I go there, because everyone remembers my name and is just so supportive - even enjoyed my pre-admission testing, believe it or not. Rest, get mentally prepared and get ready for the ride of your life! Can't wait until you join the post-WLS rockstar club.
