Dr. Patrick White, Toledo Hospital??

Has anyone used this doctor/hospital and if so, your thoughts on him and how things went? Thanks, Mark Ferrante

Dr White took out my gallbladder 12 years ago. His bedside manner is a little lacking. He just did my moms last year and he was still the same. I dont know that he has been doing Weight Loss Surgery that long. I have not lived in Toledo for 4 years, but since he did my mom's gallbladder last year, she said he is still a general surgeon and he is picking up Weight Loss surgery on the side. Toledo Hospital is Toledo Hospital. Until we moved we never used any other hospital. They are a very good hospital as far as technology goes, there is none better, but how you are treated depends on who is taking care of you. They have some really really good people and others not so good. I have several friends who work there as does my sister in law. I hope this helps Sherri

Yes I had Dr. White november 10 last year for lap rny. I really liked him I cant think of any thing bad to say about him or the surgery. he was pretty new to weight loss surgery he was in the 70s when he did mine. I am sure hes over 100 surgerys by now. He also has support meetings every month for people who are thinking about having it done and for people who had it done already.The next meeting is may 2 and he will be there. good luck

I had my lap Rny done by Doctor White on December 1 ,2004. He is lacking a little in his bedside manner. But he is an excellent surgeon and I would recommend that you have him do your surgery. I have discovered that you need to be the one to really talk to him. I think that he is just very shy. His office staff is very nice and easy to work with. Good luck!! Down 78lbs!!

I had my surgery done Feb. 9th 2005 by Dr. White at Toledo Hospital. I would recommend Dr. White to anyone who is seeking weight loss surger, he is an excellent surgeon. I like him. I didn't have any problems with the surgery, I'm doing great and I've lost 66lbs. I agree with the other lady the staff is not so great at Toledo Hospital. I guest it all depends on who is taking care of you. Some are great and some are not. They need a lot more training in that area. But if you want to talk more please feel free to email me. Good luck!
