Nausea

HELP!!! I need some suggestions on how to deal with nausea and the subsiquent vomitting. I dont post here very often but I read everything. I am having an aweful time with nausea and vomitting. It was bad in month 2 then I got some meds from my surgeon, but those do not seem to help anymore and it is now worse than what it was in month 2. I have not been able to keep a meal down in almost a week. Just the thought of food or drink makes me ill feeling. It does not seem to matter what I eat and it does not seem to be triggered by any one thing. Any body have any suggestions? I will most likely end up calling my surgeons office and seeing if I can get in. Maybe I will stick to liquids, but I have not even had much luck with them lately. My hair is falling our with a vengence all of the sudden too, probably related to not being able to eat. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Sherri By the way I am amost 4 mos post op Lap RnY

Sherri, I am new to the board and havent had any surgery yet but I remember reading something from someone else with the same problems, it seems that they where having problems with the tummy pocket being cut off. I think the name is Strictures, something like that..but no matter what you need to call the doc...ASAP......Good Luck.....Pam

Call your Dr. tomorrow. The same thing happened and Dr.Curry saw me that day. I had a stricture. After he fixed it I was fine right away. They sedate you and its no big deal I promise. Please call tomorrow. I know how terrible this is but is not uncommon.
