STARTING MORGAN CO SUPPORT GROUP?

I'm still pre op, for a few more weeks, YAHHHOOOO, and I've been thinking of starting a support group for around this area. I've had to drive to Parkersburg, WV, for my support meeting and it's just too far to go with gas prices like they are. I was wondering if anyone in the surrounding area's would be interested in joining me in a local support group? If so, please write me and let me know. It probably wouldn't start until after my surgery, 5/5/05, but I can look into it in the mean time. Genesis Health Care said they would support it, with speakers, information and what ever else we might need. I thought we could find a place for free somewhere in McConnelsville for the meetings or even during the nice weather, meet at the Commons or somewhere and have the meeting outside. Anyone from Zanesville to Beverly and everywhere in between would be more than welcome. If there are a bunch of people interested, maybe we could find a "middle place" to hold our meetings so no one would have to drive too far. I think it would be great if we could get a group going!!! Anyone wanting to help, or knows of something I won't come up with, feel free to let me know. Half the time I'm a ding bat the other half I'm a "forgetter" (I have a forgettery and not a memory!!!) Hi Susie, I'm orginally from the Marietta/Parkersburg area. I know someone that had the surgery several years ago and I remember her saying there was a support meeting in the Beverly area, I don't know if they still have it or even where you are at and if your close, but if you want I can call my friend and ask her about it?? Yes, I would love to know if there is a meeting in Beverly. I've only heard about one in Marietta and Parkersburg. When you find out, please let me know. Thanks!!!
