Vickie STOP HERE please!!

Hey I know u have Ohio Medicaid and since I am waiting on my 'approval' I was wondering how u get it, is it through the mail/ do they call u/ do they contact ur surgeons office and THEY call u or what...I was told May but April at the earliest I would have my decision. I emailed u a while back did u get it I know ur busy so I was wondering. Thanks!! ~Tema~

Lol, thanks!! It's funny though cuz every pic ANYONE takes of me I look just DISGUSTING and want to puke when I see it (especially ones I think will be good ones..) but then I set up my camera to take a pic on it's own of me (imagining it'll be awful like usual) and it's not terrible..but the funny thing is and this is y I call it my fat pic is I was wanting to take a full length pic of myself to put on here and wanted to look as fat and gross as possible like all the ones I think will be cute and aren't so I took it and voila...go figure huh? LOL!! But thanks!!

I stopped! Medicaid was giving me the run around, my PCP applied for approval, when I called Medicaid to inquire about my case, (sent in the end of Feb 04, inquired July 29) they told me that they couldn't give me that info, that my PCP's office would have to call in. So they did, I had been approved since APRIL 27! but they were sitting on it in Columbus, why? I have no idea. But anyways then Medicaid faxed it to my PCP's office and in turn they faxed it to me. Then a few weeks later it arrived in my snail mail box. So then I had an approval with my PCP's name on it, so I had to now find a surgeon. I finally spoke with Dr. Currys office and had my initial consult a couple weeks later (i have had many consults in the last 5 yrs, dr's moved or went out of bariatric's) Then Dr. C's office had to resubmit my approval to medicaid to have the Dr's name changed on it. That was Sept 04, in October I once again called Medicaid and was told that they could not change the name until Jan 05, now I got irritated! Just to change a Dr's name? SO I got busy and wrote Senators, Congressmen, Legislators, Governor, State Rep, anyone I could find an address for. A Senator stepped up to the plate and got on Medicaids behind. Medicaid then called me and Dr C's office and well I had surgery on Nov 22. I got squeaky.. and it worked. I would have my surgeons office call them but they have already a couple times and I'm afraid that if they call again my file will be put to the bottom of the pile, my surgeons office called another surgeons office who went through Ohio Medicaid and they told my surgeons office that this is what they were told Ohio Med does if u keep buggin them!! That sucks!! Yah I read ur profile before but couldn't remember but I thought it did say something about u and ur mailbox. I'm going to have to go through my sent emails and see if I can find the one I sent u and resend it, I went on ur profile and sent u one from there and u must not have gotten it so I went through my email and sent u one too and u must not have gotten that one either, I'll have to see if it's still in there and resend it lol. Ohio Medicaid said they were really behind and that I should have my decision in May but as early as April so I don't know if I should have my surgeons office call them or what they probably have not reviewed my case yet. Can you give me the address, name and title of the person who helped u through the state so I can write them and hopefully get a little help on this? Thanks.
