GTKY #6
1) I met my hubby in a bar.......I know, I know...don't happen to much. BOth of us had just been divorced and were out with friends. I was 26 and he was 31. His friend was talking to mine and I had looked at his shoes and seen they were like the ones I almost bought that same day. So I said "I almost bought those same shoes, but in womens today" and the rest is pretty much history. We sat there and talked about our kids, he had custody of his 2 boys and so did I. Our first date after that was at McDonalds with all the boys.....go figure!! This was all in March 1999. We just celebrated our 6 years together this month, and our 4 year wedding anniversary is April 28th.
2) We colored and decorated Easter eggs last night and I made cupcakes from scratch.....the boys decorated them themselves!! Boy was the kitchen and dining room a mess when all was said and done! But totallly worth it.....we all had a blast!
3) I have 2 sisters....Kristine 11 months older then me and Michele, 15 months younger.
4) Can't think of any trama from when I was younger, I feel very blessed about that!
Happy Easter to ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I missed answering Fridays question...ooooooh.
Well I will answer it now, don't know if anyone will read it.
1. My hubby was the "boy next door". I was going thru a divorce, having trouble with the exhubby. This devestatingly handsome young man moved in next door. (Kinda the house behind mine.) Well, the handsome young "thang" used to talk to me over the fence, then started coming over. It was so nice to have adult conversations with someone. I was the last to realize the neighbor liked me. He had to just say, "I think you're hot." We dated for 5 months, got married and our two year anniversary is May 4th.
2. We don't really have Easter traditions-but any reason to get together with my family makes it special to me.
3. One brother, 362 days younger than me. He turns 37 on March 29th, I turn 38 April 1st.
4. Childhood trauma...hmm. Ooooh. My parents were divorcing and our house was on the market. My brother and I were playing "real estate agent" when I went to show him a GREAT NEW BOBBY PIN HOLDER! (The electric socket-for those of you who are smarter than I was). Well I hunkered down, Rob put his hands on my shoulder and KAPLOWIE! We blew the fuses in three rooms.
