Just wanted to say hi this evening and wish everyone a happy spring. (Try not to look outside or feel the chill of the cool snow still lingering). Only in OHIO!!! Hey does anyone know is it really taking 6 months for approval for Ohio Medicaid??? Also how do you like Dr. Peter Hollowell at University in Cleveland. He is my doctor. Just wanting to know. Hi Joi- I am on Ohio Medicaid and all of my 'stuff' was sent in to them in Sept of 2004 the nurse from my surgeons office has called them and I have called them, the nurse was told by..I'm not sure who, oh I know a different docs office who dealt with medicaid that if u keep bugging them they really do put ur file on the bottom of the pile...but I was told in Jan that I should have a decision by May, April at the EARLIEST!!! They are really behind I was told...BUT reading our girl Vickie's profile I see that if you write to like state reps and people of that kind u get a reply sooner so u should get in touch with Vickie to get that kind of info, if I have to appeal I will too. You should definitely take the time to write to these kind of people don't wait it out like I did...if I had known that I would have gotten a decision I'd have done this back in Sept. So since then it's been 6 months already...that's a bunch of crap don't put up with that. Good luck!! ~Tema~
