Vickie~~~ got your reply~~ Thank You! I really AM 49~~~
1. purple
2. my hero is my Dad. He taught me so much~ spiritually, artisticly, musically and most of all how to be humble, giving and down to earth! I miss him so much! (now, you made me cry!!! )
3. No Boss at the moment~ ( I "retired" in '98 after almost 25 years in Parish music.
When I was Music Director at our Church, I had a priest looking over my shoulder... (THAT priest is one of the main reasons I resigned in '98!! he smoked those awful cigars that smelled like dog turds... and the Bishop's office would not do a thing!
I have to add that the previous priest that I worked for in that parish and priests in a previous parish were all WONDERFUL!!!
4. hmmm... working the bar-band scene for 30 year, I have heard them all... you just laugh and keep moving...
LOL @ Vickie's # 4!!! I can not imagine anyone not liking you!!!
HUGS~

1. I don't know that I have a favorite color, but I really like, green and yellow and red and purple etc... ok so I like them all
2. My hero is my Mother... she is my best friend and I admire her very much...
3. I would love to be a astronaut... I would love to go to space... That is a dream
4. When I was a kid a little boy talked me into sticking my tounge on a fence when it was freezing outside... and YES I did it... OUCH !!!
Hey you tricked me with that abbreviated title! Little slow here, blonde on board....
Ok here goes:
1. My NEW favorite color is RED!!! I am kinda likin' oranges too. I used to love purple, everything purple, but you know since I have dropped the weight I am finding I LOVE Red...hot fiesty wild! hehehe ok, I am calm now.
2. Hmmmm This is a good one, man you make me think....survivors. Any survivors, people who have come through adversities and remained strong. Cancer survivors, Tsunami Survivors, Concentration camp survivors, wls survivors, etc. Working in medicine I have seen people come through some extraordinary situations. THEY are my heroes.
3. Honestly I do like my job, but I really would love to be able to work with Bariatric Patients full time. I would love to be able to travel and work with folks all over the United States. Doing teaching about surgery, and working around all those aspect. I want to write a book. This has affected my whole life. I want to be able to share what I know, and be there to help others through it.
4. Well, they used to call me Fish because I took everything, hook, line and sinker. I think the all time "gotcha" was when my exhusband who was enlisting in the Coast Guard at the time told me he could get stationed in Hawaii...MAN I WAS STOKED!!! Cool, we can fly I said...no he was going to just drive there that he got paid more if he drove. WHAT??? I was devastated I really wanted to fly. How were we going to get there...Over the Hawaiian Bridge he said. You know I believed his stupid a$$. I was so depressed over not being able to fly. They were able to keep straight faces about it for about 15 minutes or so. Hey, I was only 18, whadda ya expect? I am not a real blonde, but I play one on tv ok?
My family STILL laughs about that to this day. The Hawaiian Bridge...geeesh. Now you all can enjoy a good laugh too!
Hi Val - I definitely think you ought to pursue writing a book. I always enjoy your posts. You come across as being very kind, concerned, educated and having a great sense of humor. All that combined with your experiences: Sound like a Best Seller to me.
Maybe you could put in the part about the Hawaiin Bridge - LOL! Or maybe that could be the title (symbolically - how far you have come)!
Good Luck!

4. What is the most ridiculous line anyone has every tried to pull on you and did you fall for it? My freshmen basketball coach told me with just a little more practice and dedication, I could get a scholorship to play ball at a big college. It must have been a line, cause it didn't happen!
