Sandy Pierce
Cindy,
Sandy has a vitamin deficiency and has beed very ill. She now is home getting tuce feedings to build her up so she can have a revision. Here's her profile http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=Pierce974215432
WOW, I just read her story and I feel so bad for her. She was one who was always so supportive of everyone else. Iwill keep her in my prayers, that is for sure. I still would recommend this surgery to anyone who is eligible for it. I have kept my vitamins up and so far, so good. Hope she gets better and that her outlook will get brighter too.
God Bless You Sandy
Cindy,
Hi, I found this guy on this site, and he is 18+ years out. I haven't spoken to him, but it would sure be nice to know how he feels and is doing. I too am praying for Sandy and wishing her a quick recovery. She is so good to everyone. Congrats on your weightloss...Amazing!

Hi All..As a member of Sandys support group, I can tell you she did use the spray vitamins for a few months..not her entire post operative period. She no longer uses them. Who can say how this happened, since she tried to be a perfect WLS patient. She currently has an NJ (not NG ) tube that her husband places formula in every couple of hours. Her surgeon is bulking her up so that she can have a revision done. She would enjoy your emails I am sure. She doesnt get on the computer a whole lot, but she does try her best.
Will you please add her to your prayer list tonight?

Dr. Selwyn
Cindy,
To answer your questions, I am home after 8 days in the University of Cincinnati Hospital. I was in there for IV Multi-Vitamins, and Thiamine.
I am now home with an NJ Tube. I am on 24 hour feedings. I will keep this tube for 3 weeks.
I will than have an EGD by Dr. Calvin Selwyn. He will than do a revision surgery, not a reversal.
If anyone has any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to call me. My number is on my website imnotfatanymore.com.
Thanks for all your prayers.
Sandy
