I think it's fun too!!! Ok this weekend... tonight it is peace and quiet night for me...Earl is working, the girls are at their friends house...just me, my kitties, my sleeping birdies, and ....aaaaahhhh what was that I heard??? Yes, I believe you heard it too... a hot bath calling my name..... Tomorrow it is heavy bench day for me. I have a competition next week, so I have to try out all my powerlifting gear, make sure it's up to snuff, get a good maximum workout in so I can kick butt next saturday!! Then...who knows what I will do the rest of that day. Maybe me and the hubby will catch a movie... we'll come up with something I am sure Sunday I am fixing my son his favoite birthday dinner LASAGNE! His birthday was the 16th, but he wanted to get his mamaw to come up from Portsmouth and have his sisters there too to have a nice family meal. He will bring his girlfriend and it should be a nice Sunday. It's just hard for me to plan those things during the week, I never know what time I will get home from work. So, that's it folks! Hope wherever you all are, you are having a great weekend. Be sure to hug everyone you love and tell them that you do! Val

I like the getting to know you threads too! Well, it's looking cloudy and chilly outside today - but if the rain holds off, I'm going for my first post-op bike ride! I wish I could have gone yesterday when it was gorgeous out, but you know how that goes. Regardless, I'm cleared for getting back in the water, so I'm going waterbiking at the gym tomorrow! And I can't wait! I'm going shopping too! I don't know whether I've really gone down in sizes *that* much, but I need a few things now that spring is getting closer. Especially shoes, because I swear I've lost all my weight so far in my feet. They are getting smaller by the day! (Like I ever needed an excuse to go shopping anyway...) I just feel so calm and relaxed because today is the first day of spring break. I still have to work a few days next week, but I don't have my field internship and I don't have any classes. So I'll FINALLY get this laundry mountain folded and put away, and I'll get to spend some time with my sister...she's almost 17 and just an absolute sweetheart. Oh, and we're getting ready for a trip to Virginia/DC to visit law schools that Tim has been accepted to. We have to make a decision by April 15th about where we're going! So busy times, but that's about normal around here! Have a good weekend everyone.

Oh you go shop shop shop girlfriend! You are right a woman NEVER needs and excuse to shop... all you need is a little jingle in your pocket and off you go! You actually have fat pads in your feet sweetie!! I lost almost 2 shoe sizes!!! My boss swears I got shorter...I probably did, not that I had much more height to lose (I am 5'4") so I hang on to what ever I can in that department! Hey...wanna do my laundry? LOL Have fun on that bike! Hugs, Val

I remember thinking at one point that we would save money in the long run with me not eating as much as I used to, and not eating out as much. Well, after going shopping yesterday, I realize that this is completely false. LOL! I had so much fun yesterday...I nearly cried in the dressing room a dozen times, because things FIT and looked so NICE. And I haven't even lost that much yet - but five inches off your waist will really do wonders. It's so funny that you said you're shorter now. I honestly felt shorter yesterday, and then Tim mentioned that he thought I had shrunk in height! Who knew? And trust me, you don't want me to do your laundry. It will end up like mine, a mountain of clean clothes just hanging out in laundry baskets because I never get around to putting it away! Lol. I didn't get to go riding yesterday (cold and chilly and rainy, yuck)...but I did get back to the gym today and took a waterbiking class. It felt so good! The shopping marathon continues today because I need new shoes. Lol...it's a good thing I started saving for this post-op shopping bonanza a few months ago. Have a good weekend!

I am so glad to hear someone else does laundry like me! I don't think half my stuff makes it to the closet or drawers... Drives my hubby nuts! I know I remember the first time I tried on a size 18 (down from a 26) I jumped up and down and ran around like an idiot. I think they thought I had lost it. Isn't that an awewsome!!!!

This weekend.... we will be going through my son's apartment and salvaging what the fire didnt' get (yep, it was front page news in the Urbana paper friday morning) We are just so happy that he and his little daughter were not at home. THINGS can be replaced, THEY can not!!!! The Red Cross has been SO wonderful helping the five families that lost their homes in the fire! Setting them up in a hotel and providing them with some clothing and food. I KNOW where MY cash donations will go this year!!! Hubby will also be out helping our son find a new apartment today. I have my little grand daughter all day today to keep me company!!! I may also try to do a bit of gardening, cleaning up the herb and flower beds. I think my 2 and a half year old grand daughter will like helping. have a great weekend everyone!!! ~Deb

I wasn't on much so I'm just now seeing this post. Saturday my boyfriend and I dropped off my 4 yr old and took the baby with us and went shopping like crazed fools!! We went to this awesome mall that's 2 story's and has glass elevators (I've been there before buy my man hasn't) and shopped the whole mall for easter presents (summer clothes) for my boys, we ended up shopping the whole mall (got a new louis vuitton bag ) then we left and went to a bunch of other stores, then yesterday I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned, then went to walmart came home put away stuff and made dinner. Busy busy busy!! Now today both my boys r sick with really bad coughs, my 1 year old took a nap but it was very short because he woke up coughing so hard he couldn't sleep!! That sucks cuz I LOVE nap time... ~Tema~
