OMG!! FINALLY approved!

If there's one thing I've learned about insurance companies after going thru all this it 's this: they're on their OWN schedule! Just because we think something should be done this fast or this way, doesn't mean that's how THEY do it. Who knows why they want you to have anoth psych. eval? It's those hoops again... thru the hoops!! Persistance and determination!! Like my daughter's gymnastic coach says, "Get your mind set, and confidence will see you through" Keep me posted on how you're doing!! Pamela

Alright, you girls are making me very nervous. I have MMO SuperMed plus and am just beginning this process. I have my psych eval next week and have to do my sleep study then they are going to send in my packet. i am keeping my fingers crossed. I have heard both good and horrible MM stories and I am praying that I can at least fall somewhere in the middle!! Good Luck to us all!!

stacey..I have super med plus. My process took about 4 months. I started with my consult in October and my surgery is the 15th of March.. I hope yours goes thru as quickly and smoothly as mine did. Good luck to all that are still trying to get there ins. approved. I think that is the worst part of all of this!! And please remember me in yours prayers for next Tuesday!!!

Congrats to you!!! It has been a long wait for you. Were you satisfied with Gary Visco? I have heard of people using him but as of yet I have not heard if he was able to help anyone. I just sent him my packet and money so I sure hope that he can help me. Good luck! Shelia

I decided not to hire Gary until I tried the Ohio Dept of Insurance. I figured I'd try all the free options I had before I hired an attorney. He answered my email right away though, and sent me all the info and forms in case I did decide to hire him. Good luck, and please let me know how he helps you!! I just lucked out with the Ohio Dept. of Ins. and I think as soon as MMO saw that they (ODI) were involved, and that I wanted an External Review performed by ODI, they jumped up and took notice of me. Well, that's what I'd like to think happened anyway!! LOL!! Pamela
