Got my date!

Finally! I've got my date for surgery...March 21st! My surgeon is scheduling me for an additional test first. It's to check for esophageal reflux. They want to put a tube down my nose into my esophagus and it will stay in place for 24 hours. Anyone else have this done? Is anyone else going to the Cleveland Clinic for their surgery? Just wondering...

Congrats on your surgery date!!! I have had an EGD but not the test you are referring to. Sounds like it won't be too bad though. Prayers and thoughts will be with you on the 21st. God Bless!

I WAS SENT TO HIM FOR A SECOND OPINION & MY DH &I WALKED OUT OF HIS OFFICE I THOUGHT HE WAS SO RUDE,NO BEDSIDE MANNER/ OF COURSE I DIDN'T DO WHAT HIS TEAM HAD ASK OF ME HOWEVER I DIDN'T GO THERE FOR THIS TYPE OF SUGERY,WAS TOTALLY SUPRISED WHEN HE WANTED TO DO THIS SURGURY ANYWAY I ASK HIM TO SEND MY TEST REPORTS TO ME AND HE DID,HE JUST STRUCK MY DH. AND I THE WRONG WAY,IF DO THIS SUGURY I AM VERY HIGH RISK,AND HAVE TO REALLY THINK ABOUT THIS. I AM TOTALLY AFRAID THAT SOMETHING WILL GO WRONG.I WILL BE TAKING MY PAPER WORK TO ANOTHER DR. TOMORROW TO SEE WHAT HE HAS TO SAY. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR INPUT
