OMG I was almost approved except they are trying to say that they want 5 years of Adult weight loss history and that anything under the age of 18 doesnt count. However I have talked with several people my age (20) or slightly younger who have had the surgery. Uh I have 8 years of history but only 3 are adult. If you have had the surgery and you were under 23 when you had it please contact me asap! Thaaankks! Faith

Faith, Honey, they need to realize it's impossible for a young adult to have the weight history as a requirement. File a complaint with the Ohio Insurance Commission. The commission is an advocate for consumers like us peons that need assistance to see that the five year history requirement should be taken as the last five years and not just as an adult. Don't give up. The Ohio Insurance Commission is wonderful to work with. Luann
