???Question of the Day???
The biggest surprise(s) I ever got happened on the same day almost 15 years ago. In the morning I found out I was pregnant with my second child and then later that afternoon (before I dropped my bombshell news) I found out my husband had a girlfriend. Talk about a whirlwind of emotions that day. Luckily, I held onto the good surprise and kicked the bad one to the curb

PS..Congratulations, Cheryl, on your engagement to Bo. I'm so excited for both of you!
I LOVE good surprises...I can think of 2 right now.
I really wanted/needed a new bike. I don't remember if I had been specifically asking for one or not. But on my birthday I was opening gifts at the dining room table with family and friends around and one was a bell for a bike. I thought "well I'm not going to put that on the one I have now", then I looked up and in the hallway was my dad with a brand new Huffy Desert Rose (I swear every girl in the neighborhood had one!)...I was in shock!...completely surprised.
Then in high school one of my friends put together a surprise party for me, I was completely surprised, although they were new friends, and none of my old ones were included...oh yeah then the friend broke up with his girlfriend in front of me and she thought he was doing it just for me since it was my birthday and I did like him. (OMG that's just tooo much high school drama...he's out of the closet now)
Thanks for taking me down memory lane....hope you and Bo create many more memories together.

This may sound silly but.......remember when cabbage patch dolls were all the rage when they first came out? They were near impossible to get. Anyway, I had went to school one day and of course the snooty girl in my class (that had everything) had gotten one! I was so envious of her and wanted one sooooooooo bad I could taste it! After school that day my mom took me and my brother to visit my granny (greatest granny in the world, I love her so much!) I walked in her door already rambling about how badly I wanted a cabbage patch doll and so on. She looked at my brother and said "I can't believe you told." I didn't know what she was talking about till I got inside and there was a present for me. She had waited in line at the mall from the wee hours of the morning to get me one of the few they had gotten in. He hadn't told me anything but of course he seemed suspicious at the time with me rambling on and all. lol! Anyway, that was many years ago but I remember being so happy and excited! ahhhhhhhh.....to be that young again lol
BTW congratulations cheryl
