Finding a new PCP?

Hi! My name is Lucy, I'm 23, and I have a BMI of 37.6 with severe hip pain going back since I was 17. Anyhow, I have not had a PCP in a long while, though I was seeing a OBGYN regularly during my pregnancy and birth of my son in 2003. Does anyone know of a wls-friendly pcp in the Fairborn or Dayton area? I have Caresource insurance, if that matters. I know I can just several places but would like to get any opinions? I am seriously considering wls because I am unhealthy. I am worried that I will not be able to keep up with my toddler soon!! I know it's hard keeping up with kids when you aren't over weight. Dr. Shafik Ahmad on Brandt Pike in Huber is also very WLS friendly. He had been encouraging me to think about this surgery for the last 5 years and I finally "caved" and looked into it. Now all I want to know is why I waited so long! Good luck. Lani
