tummy tuck/ medicaid

its been 3 years since my surgery i am thinking about trying for a tummy tuck .has any one got one through ohio medicaid? my stomack sagging is making my back to hurt i don.t have a long apron but enough of it to be bothersome and very sweaty too. though i"ve not had any rashes .its like carrying a tool belt all the time .lol. any help would be great mary

Mary, I don't know if your insurance would cover a TT. However, I can tell you when it comes to insurance you need to start making a paper trail indicating how bothersome that excess skin is. I am waiting to have a TT and am currently going to my doctor once a month just to have him write in my chart I have a "rash." from the extra skin. I dont have a rash however there are ways around that !!! Keep a journal of your own too of what a daily chore it is. These insurance folks want to make sure we are desperate to get this done. Hi Mary, Long time no see! And you STILL haven't changed your photo! I wanna see the NEW MARY! A few others have had Medicaid pay for TT's, good luck! Just document all the pain and any other problems you have with it. I have already started there, biggest one for me is back pain, but I'm on SSI for my back/hip injury also. My PCP says he don't think I'll have any problems getting approval for a TT or Breast Reduction because of that. But we'll see. That's a long ways in the future yet for me. Hugs, Vickie
