a few questions

I am 11 days out and have a few questions. Protien supplements~ I bought GNC's 'unflavored' to add to my drinks/pureed food... problem! it tastes and smells like rancid milk and I have a REAL problem not upchucking it! Any GOOD or completely tasteless supplements??? I am also having nausea (haven't thrown up) with baby food meats and pureed cottage cheese. any suggestions??? I really need to keep my protien up!!! AHHHHH!!! Other than that I think I am doing well... a teesy bit more energy each day and the "alien" that lives behind my left ribs is sleeping more and more. HUGS ~Deb

I'm not sure, but I think GNC will refund your money on the items you can't tolerate. When I was on the puree stage, I couldn't handle it, so I just chewed, chewed, chewed to get through it. Protein is hard to get in to begin with, have you tried zero carb isopure ready to drink drinks at GNC they are clear and have 40 grams of protein. Someone told me about them and it was a God send. Deb, I had a hard time finding protein drinks that I could handle. Like you, they seemed all taste so nasty! I found and love the Nector (Fuzzy Navel) and drink it constantly. I hate watered down drinks too but like them to be cold so I now freeze some of the mixture in the ice cube tray to add to the drink so when they melt, I get even more protein. I can't handle either one of those. I ate a lot of jello vs. pureed foods. I'm a picky eater for sure. Glad you are getting your strength up-it will come back to you just give it some time. Beth Beth
