i went to bariatric treatment centers in columbus back in may of 2003 and was approved for surgery but then my insurance at the time denied it this was when i was still employed anyway since that time i have become disabled and on ssi and now have medicaid and called back to BTC and they are not currently covered so now i am on my search again and feeling pretty hopeless with all the medical conditions i have (high bp, gerd, ibs, depression, anxiety, sleep apnia, chronic fatigue, sever pain in back and all my joint) and then doc did some other test recently that said i'm prob gonna have a heart attack or stroke in next 5 yrs if things don't change and then all the sweeling and water retention i'm haveing currently i fear i will die before i make it to have surgery please if anyone out there knows something please get back to me it's been roadblock after roadblock and now i have hit another one i called medicaid to ask them and of course all i can do there is leave a message for someone to call me back i'm at my wits end and feeling more depressed then ever with this new roadblock
Hi Autumn,
My name is Tracy and I am the Insurance Coordinator for Dr. Trace Curry's office in Cincinnati, OH. We are located inside of Deaconess Hospital at 311 Straight St. We do accept Ohio Medicaid. If our location is not too far for you to drive, we would love to help you out. My direct number is 513-559-2544. I am in the office every day but Tuesdays. My hours are 7am-3:30pm. If you would like to call outside of my hours, you can call our receptionist at 513-559-2545. She is here Mon-Friday 8:00-4:30. I hope to hear from you soon!
Hi Tracy. I talked to you about a month or so ago about Medicaid. Now Medicaid is just for the RNY right? Can I get a Lap Band on medicaid???Is it something we can fight for or is it impossible? Please let me know. I don't have long distance to call you but email me and I will send you my number if it's something we can talk about.
