Mt.Carmel and Medigold

Hello all! I'm really new to this, so please bear with me. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Mt Carmel Hospital and/or Medigold insurance. I was told over the phone that the surgery would be covered as long as I used a physician "IN NETWORK". Well I found one, no problem. I have my first educational seminar scheduled next month. I guess my big question is this... how long of a process was it for you? I've been trying to find a way to have this surgery for five years. Medigold has never admitted to any coverage before. That changed when Medicare started covering it. So here I am. I'm excited to get started, but I know that it's a slow process no matter what. I was just hoping to hear anything anyone could share.
